ClauseKit provides digital landlord compliance templates and information for use in England. This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available.

By purchasing from ClauseKit, you agree to this Refund Policy alongside our Terms & Conditions.

1. DIGITAL PRODUCTS (IMPORTANT)
​
All ClauseKit products are supplied as digital downloads (e.g., Word documents and/or zip folders).
​
Because digital files are delivered instantly and cannot be “returned” in the same way as physical goods, we do not offer refunds once a digital product has been accessed or delivered, except in the limited circumstances listed below.

This policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have under UK consumer law.
​

2. WHEN A REFUND MAY BE CONSIDERED
​
We may consider a refund if:

(A) Duplicate purchase
​
You accidentally purchased the same product more than once.
​
(B) Delivery failure
​
You did not receive access to the digital download and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time.

(C) Material defect
​
The files are corrupted, incomplete, or not functional (for example, the download will not open), and we cannot provide a working replacement.

(D) Incorrect charge
​
You were charged incorrectly due to a technical or billing error.
​

3. WHEN REFUNDS ARE NOT PROVIDED
​
Refunds are not provided for:

Change of mind after purchase.

Accidental purchase where the file has already been accessed/downloaded.

Inability to use the templates due to incorrect completion or misunderstanding.

Personal circumstances changing (e.g., no longer renting a property).

Outcomes in disputes, deposit claims, council inspections, or possession proceedings.

Requests for legal advice (ClauseKit™ does not provide legal advice).

4. CONSUMER RIGHTS (UK)

Under UK consumer law, digital content may be eligible for a refund or replacement if it is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.

Where applicable, we will:

offer support to resolve the issue, and/or

provide a replacement download, and/or
-
issue a refund if a fix or replacement is not possible.

6. CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES

If you have any issue with your download or purchase, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly.

Unauthorized chargebacks or misuse of payment disputes may result in your access being disabled while the dispute is investigated.

If you have problems accessing your ClauseKit download, we can assist by:

re-sending your download link (where available), or

guiding you through accessing the files via Wix, or

providing a replacement download where required.
